Susan Carlson Cockburn, BSN, CNM

Susan received her bachelor of science in nursing from Vanderbilt University and her certificate in Nurse-Midwifery from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She has been employed at AOG since 1977 and loves providing care in a small town where she now has the opportunity to deliver the babies of mothers she delivered. Susan is married, raised two sons, and is a proud grandmother to one grandson. She enjoys reading, needlework, and gardening. |
Judy Martin, BSN, MN, CNM

Judy earned her BSN from Columbia Union College in Takoma Park, Maryland and both her MN and CNM from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. After working two years in Gainesville, Georgia she joined AOG in 1990. She particularly enjoys the opportunity to provide education and support during pregnancy and childbirth. Judy is married and has one son and three step-children. She is also a proud grandmother and enjoys being involved in her church, gardening, and traveling. |
JoEllen Blake-Wingate, MN, WHNP, CNM

After receiving her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Union College, JoEllen earned her women’s health nurse practitioner certification and MN/ CNM from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She was employed at AOG for four years beginning in 1985, and returned in 1996 after working in Gainesville and Atlanta. JoEllen enjoys being able to provide care to women of all ages and is particularly interested in the peri-menopause. She has been married to her best friend for more than 30 years and her “children” are her many pets. Her outside interests include hiking, traveling, biking, and scrapbooking. |
